Comedian Leslie Jones, who hosted this year’s BET Awards in Los Angeles, accused the Ritz-Carlton of racism in a tweet sent after the show:
Wow was such a great night at the BET awards. But then had THE WORST STAY @RitzCarlton DO NOT STAY THERE!! THEY DONT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE!!

There’s been no report as of yet on what exactly the Ritz-Carlton did to be called out by Jones, but the hotel did respond to her on Twitter:
@Lesdoggg We’re sorry to hear this. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service to all. Please DM us & we’ll look into this right away

The manager of the hotel told the NY Daily News that he’s investigating the incident.
So, any bets on whether or not whatever happened was actually racism and not just poor service?
I'm white and i have same experience in many interactions with service industry too, all I'm saying is all colors treated badly at times. https://t.co/nqOGY9uZ1K
