Charlie Daniels truth-bombs the GOP

Charlie Daniels is 100% right:

never seen an organization that actually made an art out of gaining control and throwing it away like the Republicans
Get it together guys!!

Republicans control the House, Senate and the presidency and they still can’t get their budget passed?

I can't believe we control the WH, House, and Senate, yet Dems still got 80% of their most far left demands.

They win. #Budget2017

Charlie has hit it on the head right here because it is true. Why in heavens sake are they so scared of the Democrats? @GOP why why why #GOP https://t.co/QMkVE7sPgS

President Trump blammed the bad deal on the filibuster and called for a change to Senate rules:

The reason for the plan negotiated between the Republicans and Democrats is that we need 60 votes in the Senate which are not there! We….

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 2, 2017

either elect more Republican Senators in 2018 or change the rules now to 51%. Our country needs a good "shutdown" in September to fix mess!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 2, 2017

Why wait until September?

On Trump shutdown/filibuster-nuking tweets: If bipartisan CR is so bad, why not veto it? I.e. If a shutdown's so good, why wait til Sept?

And apparently negotiating the budget is tougher than avoiding the Civil War:

President who said he could have negotiated a deal to prevent the Civil War https://t.co/UAIzlSDRcz

But even worse for the GOP, Trump’s tweets basically admit that he caved to Dems:

And so much for WH efforts to spin the spending bill as a win for Trump. He just called it a cave to Democrats

Sigh.
