These two tweets popped up in our timeline this afternoon…
First up, Sony Pictures proudly announced that actor Sir Patrick Stewart will voice “Poop” in itssure-to-be-a-stinker of a film, “The Emoji Movie”:
He ain’t no ??! So excited to announce the distinguished @SirPatStew as Poop in the #EmojiMovie – in theaters August 4th! #SonyAnimationDay pic.twitter.com/JTeEhP08qI

And then we saw this tweet from Sir Patrick Stewart on how embarrassed he is to be British because of Brexit:
First time back in continental Europe since Brexit. I was once so proud to be part of the Union. Now embarrassed to be British.

Pfft. If we were British, we’d be embarrassed that Stewart is starring in a movie about cartoon poop.
Exit question: Will “Poop” wear a safety pin in the movie to protest Donald Trump’s election, too?

Cheer up, sir. Things go only get better in 2017 after playing poop!
