As we told you, Trump Tower was briefly evacuated on Tuesday after a suspicious package was found in the lobby. Thankfully it was just a false alarm and everything in the building quickly returned to normal:
NYPD confirms "suspicious package" at Trump Tower that prompted evacuation was a bag of toys. So I'm going home now. #merrychristmas

Incoming WH Press Secretary later tweeted his thanks to the NYPD, which resulted in a snarky response from Mayor Bill de Blasio’s press secretary, Eric Phillips:
Back to work here at Trump Tower after a false alarm. Thanks NYPD

No problem. We'll send you the bill. https://t.co/mxbUqzgHds

Trump social media director Dan Scavino then jumped in to savage Phillips over his ridiculous tweet:
Eric Phillips- Spokesperson for @NYCMayor @BilldeBlasio– you are an embarrassment to the @NYCMayorsOffice & the amazing #NYPD. https://t.co/kPX9go1gl4

Phillips wasn’t done and responded with a request for help on securing Trump Tower going forward:
That's not very nice, Dan. But about that bill…work on it with us? https://t.co/mrN6vio9tp https://t.co/42znPvj7m2

Maybe if the de Blasio administration wants the Trump administration’s help, de Blasio’s staffers shouldn’t act like children on Twitter? Just a thought.
