Here we go again. A sign proclaiming “Black Rifles Matter” on private property in Boothbay, Maine is reportedly drawing protests from tourists angry over its appropriation of “Black Lives Matter”:

Town officials claim that some vacationers have left early because of his sign. What, they don’t approve of the 1st Amendment?
But some have been upset by the sign.
“We have received a few complaints from visitors to the region,” said Boothbay Region Chamber of Commerce Director Rick Prose.
“Some of these people have cut their vacation short and left early,” said Town Manager Thomas Woodin.
And we’d love to poll the people who expressed outrage over this resident’ exercise of the 1st Amendment on what they think of Colin Kaepernick exercising his 1st Amendment rights at a football game:
