There some debate this morning whether or not the brief gaggle Hillary Clinton had with reporters on her airplane yesterday counted as a press conference. According to WSJ’s Laura Meckler, the “consensus” among the reporters covering Hillary is that it did count:
For those who care, consensus in press corp is that 25 minute Q&A on plane is a "press conference." (How about another one tomorrow!)

Of course it did. Would you expect anything other than positive spin from this crowd?

The RNC, however, disagree and has yet to “reset their countdown clock”:

Whatever you call it, she’s reportedly going to do it again today. Some are calling it a press conference:

Or it’s a gaggle:
Asked about today's CNN poll, Clinton doesn't answer and tells reporters that she'll come back and gaggle later — this was just to say hi.

How about some tougher questions this time, eh?
