Apparently the Minnesota GOP forgot to file the proper paperwork on time to ensure that Donald Trump and Mike Pence appear on the November ballot.

Trump wasn't on Minnesota ballot yet because convention hadn't named alternate electors. Party did last night. Will file before deadline.

The error was reported by Michael Brodkorb last night when he noticed that Trump wasn’t on the sample ballot online:

It was then discovered that the Minnesota GOP had not yet filed the paperwork:
So, @MNSteveSimon website's provides a great way to get info on candidates – but Trump isn't listed, because #MNGOP hasn't filed info. Wow.

And the state party had no idea it hadn’t been done:
