The U.N. wants to battle the Zika virus by killing more babies

We hope for that too, but nope…

As the Zika virus outbreak continues predominantly through countries in Central and South America, the U.N. is using the crisis to promote a pro-abortion agenda in order to fight the disease. That’s right: kill the babies because governments can’t figure out a way (DDT!) to kill the bugs:

Researchers believe the Zika virus, which is relatively new in Brazil, might be responsible for hundreds of cases of microcephaly, a birth defect that results in a child born with an abnormally small head and an underdeveloped brain.

Reporters, too, are using the Zika outbreak to push their baby-killing agenda:

Remember when liberals criticized us for calling for reasonable travel restrictions on those returning to America from Ebola-affected countries? That was considered extreme.

There are two main problems with the pro-abortions argument. One, the link between microcephaly and the Zika virus hasn’t been “scientifically proven” yet. And two, detecting microcephaly via a sonogram is “difficult.” From Vox:

It’s also difficult to diagnose: The fact that a fetus has microcephaly is often not apparent until late in the pregnancy (ultrasounds often can’t detect the condition until well into the second trimester) or after birth (when doctors measure the circumference of the baby’s head). Sometimes babies born with normal heads can acquire microcephaly later, through a subsequent brain injury or infection.

Liberals: never let a crisis go to waste.
