For all the liberal haters out there who questioned if Ben Carson had ever seen gun violence up close, the answer is yes. From CNN:
GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson recounted Wednesday a story about being held at gunpoint, amid backlash over comments he made about the Oregon community college shooting in which he suggested victims of the shooting could have done more to fight back.
“I have had a gun held on me when I was in a Popeye’s organization” in Baltimore, the retired neurosurgeon told Karen Hunter on Sirius XM Radio, referring to the fried chicken fast-food chain.
“Guy comes in, put the gun in my ribs. And I just said, ‘I believe that you want the guy behind the counter,'” Carson.
Although not everyone believes his story. That’s right — we now have Popeyes truthers and they’re every bit as unhinged as you’d expect:

Now this is kind of funny. Some are comparing Carson’s story to the scene in “Coming to America” where Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall disarm a shotgun-wielding Samuel L. Jackson at a fake McDonald’s in Queens, N.Y.:
I'm hearing Ben Carson talk about his incident at Popeyes & all I can think about is the scene from 'Coming to America' w/ Samuel L. Jackson

Ben Carson has already proven he'll tell a lie, so I don't believe this Popeyes fable for one minute.
