Remember that story we told you about alleging nooses were placed in a tree at the University of Delaware after Townhall’s Katie Pavlich spoke on campus? And remember how it turned out that they weren’t nooses at all but actually wire hangers for paper lanterns?
Get this — According to Katie, the University of Delaware’s student newspaper is “STILL lying” about it:
. @UDreview is STILL lying about so called "nooses" which were actually lantern hangers to promote #BlackLivesMatter http://t.co/YC7Z0RUqoo
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) October 6, 2015
This sentence is absurd: "The lantern remains resembling noose were not the first instances of race on campus" http://t.co/MnSCc7yyQD
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) October 6, 2015
"Senior reporter" Hannah Tate pushing bogus #BlackLivesMatter narrative about lantern hangers = hate crime on campus http://t.co/MnSCc7yyQD
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) October 6, 2015
Katie is now being accused of “bullying” for calling out the reporter:
@KatiePavlich also stop bullying college journalists. It's embarrassing on your part.
— Cady (@cadyrz) October 6, 2015
I'm not bullying anyone. They're lying and not telling the truth about what happened. Is that "journalism" to you @cadyzuvich?
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) October 6, 2015
.@KatiePavlich pretty sure @udreview used approp. language here. Wrote "what appeared to be nooses" and ID'd them as lanterns in next graf.
— Cady (@cadyrz) October 6, 2015
Editor in Chief Matt Butler wasn’t happy either:
@KatiePavlich don't ever attack one of my reporters again. If you've got an issue, talk to me like you're at least trying to be an adult.
— Matt Butler (@AllegedButler) October 6, 2015
We appear to be firmly entrenched in Katie Pavlich's mind.
— Matt Butler (@AllegedButler) October 6, 2015
Says the guy who keeps putting me in articles about racism that didn't happen! https://t.co/ibPwiGYjZn
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) October 6, 2015
And we’ll end it with this little bit of career advice:
Apparently expecting student journalists to identify objects accurately in stories now = bullying. @UDreview @cadyzuvich
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) October 6, 2015
No wonder young people are unemployed & living with mom and dad, many see requirement to operate in the real world as bullying or an attack
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) October 6, 2015
Note to young people (aka my peers): The real world doesn't come w/ trigger warnings or "safe spaces." Deal with it (or run back to campus!)
