Here’s a quote from 2016 presidential candidate Martin O’Malley from earlier today on guns while addressing the Conference of Mayors in San Francisco:
Martin O'Malley to Mayors: "A single American life is worth more than all the guns in the United States."

Wow. We’d like to hear a little more about what he means by this. Are there any other freedoms guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution O’Malley thinks are worth banning to save even a single life?
The former governor, who passed sweeping gun control legislation in Maryland, also wants a national assault weapons ban:
Martin O'Malley is "pissed," calls for assault weapons ban http://t.co/pk0woW6rfy

And — of course — he blames the NRA for all of this:
How many senseless acts of violence do we have to endure as a people before we stand up to the Congressional lobbyists of the NRA?

Exit question: Why is it that the gun-grabbiest politicians are from cities with the worst gun problems? THAT’s what we should be talking about.
