What Martin O'Malley just said about guns could be his gun-grabbiest quote yet

Here’s a quote from 2016 presidential candidate Martin O’Malley from earlier today on guns while addressing the Conference of Mayors in San Francisco:

Wow. We’d like to hear a little more about what he means by this. Are there any other freedoms guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution O’Malley thinks are worth banning to save even a single life?

The former governor, who passed sweeping gun control legislation in Maryland, also wants a national assault weapons ban:
