We posted earlier today about Amanda Carpenter and her tweets on how “utterly tone deaf and disconnected” President Obama is from the American people in response to news that the he will propose a slew of new tax increases in Tuesday’s State of the Union address, but Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax reform, noticed something even worse. President Obama’s new proposals are all just political theater:
Obama's tax hike "ideas." One notes he did not pass or even suggest these when Dems had control of House/Senate in 2009/10. All for show.

Again, bingo. The president knew these tax increases would have hurt Democrats in races in 2010, 2012 and 2014 so he never even bothered to suggest them then.
