What Huffington Post National Security Fellow Donte’ Stallworth thinks “can get very interesting” is this breaking story on today’s “surprise inspections” by the DEA of the medical staffs of multiple NFL teams in a search for evidence of prescription painkiller abuse by team doctors:

The Washington Post reported that a total of six teams will be investigated on Sunday.
Although, some are questioning if this really should be a DEA priority. Former NFL player and current NBC personality Ross Tucker, for example:

Unlike ANY other sport guys regularly get injured. Like really injured. Broken bones, sprained/torn ligaments, etc. Pain meds are necessary.
