Report of workers trapped on collapsed scaffolding at One WTC [photos]; Updated

CBS 2 New York City reports:

Two window washers were reported trapped on a scaffolding at 1 World Trade Center, according to the Office of Emergency Management.

Images from the scene showed the scaffolding dangling at a precarious angle.

The scaffold is trapped at around the 68th floor.

The incident began at around 12:45 p.m. on the south side of the building.

Emergency responders from the Police and Fire Departments along with the Port Authority are on the scene in an effort to rescue the workers and secure the dangling scaffold platform.
