Last night CNN hosted, with Jake Tapper moderating, the third and final Florida gubernatorial debate between Democratic hopeful Charlie Crist and Republican Gov. Rick Scott. There were no real fireworks or a memorable moment to report, however, and viewers weren’t real happy with either candidate:
I never say who wins debates, but I can guarantee you @PamBondi isn't happy. #FLGovDebate

I'm not watching the #FLGovDebate on the off chance that I still have a soul.

Even Charlie Crist’s fan, memorialized forever in the political lexicon as “Fangate” was long forgotten, except Jake Tapper did make sure everyone was comfortable at the start:
Where #fangate ended. @jaketapper: Everybody is comfortable here? @CharlieCrist: Thank you, yes.

So, who won the debate? According to Florida media types on Twitter, it was Jake Tapper:

Well, almost everyone thought Tapper won:
Quick … Fla. political reporter, if you haven’t declared @JakeTapper “the winner” of tnite’s #FLGovDebate, you could lose cred. with @CNN.

Asking inquisitive questions is a debate moderator’s job. Sorry @JakeTapper, not calling you a winner for doing an easy job. #FLGovDebate
