Marco Rubio responds to Jill Biden saying Latinos are unique like breakfast tacos

As we told you yesterday, First Lady Jill Biden is under fire after she compared diversity in the Latino community to “breakfast tacos’ in San Antonio.

In case you missed it, here is EXACTLY what she said:

“As distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio.”

Now, before the media gets all “conservatives pounce” on this story, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists also called her out.

“We are not tacos” and “our heritage as Latinos is shaped by various diasporas, cultures & food traditions,” they tweeted in a statement:
