This would be the same Tara Setmayer who, at least used to be, a huge supporter of the Second Amendment:

In the past, she’s said that no “gun law” can stop a mass shooting. For example, this was after the terror attack in San Bernardino in 2015:

She said similar things after the mass shooting in Parkland, Fla. in 2018:

Well, it appears she’s had a change of heart. On “The View” today, she called out “Christian nationalism” and how it’s all “God, Guns, and Trump” for these people:

She also nodded along in agreement with Whoopi Goldberg here on the need to ban the AR-15, which is not a “hunting gun” we’re told:

Well, that’s not what Setmayer argued. Again, look at the date in this tweet. It’s just one day after the Parkland shooting in 2018:
1.) An AR-15 is NOT an assault weapon.
2.) It is NOT automatic. It’s a single trigger pull shot just like a handgun
3.) It’s primarily a hunting rifle, NOT a weapon of war

Sara Hines, one of the other hosts, said even pro-gun people can’t defend the AR-15:

AR-15 style rifles are rarely used in daily gun crime. There are 8 million of them legally owned in this country without incident. Cops are rarely confronted w/them & many have additional firepower in their patrol cars if a situation warrants that.
