Taylor Lorenz says she drinks 3 gallons of water a day and her fellow blue-checks have questions

Like seriously. What is going on here?

The Washington Post’s Taylor Lorenz asked for some input on the water quality in Los Angeles but at the same time revealed that she currently drinks “about 3 gallons” of water a day.

She tweeted:

“Fellow LA people: do you drink water straight from the tap? I drink about 3 gallons of tap water daily and I’ve read on forums recently the water quality here isn’t great. Just wondering how many ppl out there filter LA tap water and if it’s something to worry about”

She also revealed that she currently keeps her apartment at 87 degrees:
