It appears that the viral tweet claiming P*rnHub is blocking viewers in Russia is not true

There’s a tweet going viral claiming that PornHub has blocked Russians from viewing its, um, offerings. . .

The sanction nobody is talking about. Russian users who attempted to visit pornhub were quite literally cockblocked by a message that told them that the content has been stopped along with a Ukranian flag and message of Ukranian support #Ukraine #UkraineRussia #UkraineInvasion pic.twitter.com/XdI75534JW

I went to Pornhub through a Russian VPN and it just asks me to confirm my age via VK, and then I’m in. It doesn’t seem to show signs that traffics from Russia is cockblocked, in contrary to the rumor 🤔

They would have publicized it if it were true, no?

if people actually in russia are seeing something different lmk. but I don't think pornhub does things like this without a little PR noise
