A tense hostage situation at an Apple Store in Amsterdam ended earlier this morning after the police ran over the gunman with a car after he exited the store to chase after the hostage who had just escaped and was attempting to run away:

Police then used a robot to check the gunman for explosives with snipers at the ready just in case:
