Author Stephen King argued on Twitter last night that “Mr. Puting has made a serious miscalculation” over his invasion of Ukraine and he “forgot he’s no longer dealing with Trump”:
Mr. Putin has made a serious miscalculation.
He forgot he's no longer dealing with Trump.— Stephen King (@StephenKing) February 23, 2022
Who wants to tell him?
Also if you want to play that game, you could make the opposite argument that Putin annexed Crimea under Obama and didn’t invade Ukraine under Trump.
You have to be seriously ignorant on geopolitics to think Putin is going to stop just because Biden is here.

Oh, we *will* play that game because it’s historically accurate:
He didn't invade under Trump.
He invaded in 2014 when Biden was VP.
He is invading now with Biden as president https://t.co/qrLhsR2mo9

Since Obama/Biden just let Russia take Crimea, why would Putin expect this time to be any different?
True, he's dealing with the team that gave him Crimea with virtually no cost. He probably brought too many tanks. https://t.co/9TyFGEYGzG

And we would really like just one liberal to explain why Putin didn’t invade while Trump was president:
Surely Putin would have liked to have done the same thing in Ukraine when Trump was in office. Why didn't he? Because Trump was unpredictable and dangerous. On the other hand, Biden is weak, senile & completely botched an easy Afghanistan withdrawal. https://t.co/Is0Oydu4nz

But, we expect, we’ll be waiting for some time.
