Dr. Anthony Fauci said this morning that the CDC will consider adding a negative test to its guidelines that people only need to isolate for 5 days after an infection:
Fauci signals that the CDC will soon revise its guidance about ending isolation 5 days after infection.
Making a negative test part of the guidance is "now under consideration," he says, and "I think we're going to be hearing more about that in the next day or so from the CDC."
