Jon Gruden has resigned as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders after the New York Times reported on a trove of leaked emails where he “used misogynistic and homophobic language for years”:

“I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone,” he tweeted:
"I have resigned as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. I love the Raiders and do not want to be a distraction. Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff, and fans of Raider Nation. I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone."

From the NYT:
Breaking News: The NFL coach Jon Gruden used misogynistic and homophobic language for years, a review of his emails shows. He denounced the emergence of women referees, the drafting of a gay player and the tolerance of protests during the national anthem. https://t.co/F3QpqV9yZS

The emails were sent from his personal account to Bruce Allen, the former president of the Washington Football Team, when Gruden wasn’t in the NFL and were part of the league’s investigation into workplace misconduct at the Washington Football Team:

In one email, Gruden called NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a “f*****” and a “clueless anti football p****”:

And he called Joe Biden a “nervous clueless p****”:

So, what else is in these 650,000 emails???
The NFL got Gruden out with the leaks; mission accomplished.
But the public/fans/media is going to want to know more about these 650,000 emails.
Wasn't this case about the toxic workplace of the Washington Football Club?

There must be a lot of nervous people this morning:
WFT is going to WFT, but there isn’t a single NFL team that could survive that kind of scrutiny of its last 650,000 emails and texts, and it wouldn’t surprise me if most of the MNF announcers have saucy emails. https://t.co/WkRpWiu7vY
