Gulp.
Panama’s foreign minister Erika Mouynes is warning anyone who will listen that the border crisis is far from over and that “as many as 60,000 migrants — mostly Haitian — [are] poised to make their way north” through Mexico:

She also said she attempted to warn the Biden administration of this but they wouldn’t listen.

El Pais is reporting at least 20,000 Haitian migrants right now on the Colombia/Panama border:

But it’s not surprising that team Biden didn’t listen to Panama as they also didn’t listen to warnings from the Trump administration during the transition:
The professionals told this administration during transition (in over 100 meetings, literally) that their open border policies would create the crisis it did… and now those same professionals are warning the @JoeBiden administration what will happen w/o Covid-protections. https://t.co/YoDa9mq2qd
