Shake Shack is NOT included in Danny Meyer's announcement requiring employees and customers to be vaccinated

The fast-casual restaurant chain “Shake Shack” was trending a little while ago on Twitter after the company’s founder, Danny Meyer, announced that all of his restaurants will require proof of vaccine for “both employees AND customers” in all of his indoor-dining locations:

This PR stunt doesn’t apply to Shake Shack, however. At least not yet. Via CNBC:

Meyer, founder of Shake Shack and chairman of the fast casual chain’s board, said that company will set its own policy regarding vaccines. “Shake Shack will make the appropriate decision for them at the appropriate time,” he said.

In other words, his fancy restaurants in New York City will be treated differently than Shake Shacks because of science or something:
