Um, New York Times, WTF is this?
How a loose alliance of lawyers, lobbyists and Orthodox Jewish leaders won clemency from Donald Trump for white collar criminals. https://t.co/obIbYtiPz5

“Who needs the Daily Stormer when you’ve to the New York Times?” writes Newsweek’s Batya Ungar-Sargon:
Who needs the Daily Stormer when you've got the New York Times?
An Orthodox Jew helps free more than 4,000 Black men from prison.
NYT: A LOOSE ALLIANCE OF ORTHODOX JEWS USED THEIR MONEY TO UNDERMINE JUSTICE AND PUPPET MASTER THE PRESIDENT https://t.co/i2HktWsdUp

The Jerusalem Post’s Lahav Harkov adds, “The Times loves publishing Jew trackers”:

Who wants to tell them?
Years ago, I helped my rabbi make a Hanukkah party for inmates at MDC in Brooklyn. Most were indigent, and many had ICE waiting to deport them. Orthodox Jews have been working on justice reform for decades — to frame that work as new or politically motivated is ahistoric https://t.co/NJDN6fscyk

It really is garbage framing of what really happened:
Anyone else who had done as much to mitigate mass incarceration would be lauder as a hero. But when Orthodox Jews do it, the whole enterprise is tainted by their "lobbying," their "lawyers," their "loose network" and of course, the crime of being Orthodox Jews to begin with!

But Orange Man Bad though:
A loose alliance of purported journalists ignore the thousands of people of all ethnicities who benefited from criminal justice reform, in order to focus on a few Rabbis, Dershowitz, Trump, Kushner & some former Jewish prisoners.
In other words, a regular Sunday at the NY Times. https://t.co/r1Jbb9TuRH

Do better, NYT:
You can't bring yourself to write about the First Step Act? Fine. You can't bring yourself to admit Kushner did something good? Fine. But you don't get to use your institutional allergy to reporting the facts to spread disgusting anti-Semitism.
