Another woman has come forward to accuse Gov. Andrew Cuomo of inappropriate conduct in the workplace:
Another woman is accusing New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo of conduct she felt was inappropriate for the workplace. Ana Liss, a former policy aide, says Cuomo sometimes greeted her with a hug and a kiss on both cheeks and asked her personal questions. https://t.co/UMLSXgecMP

And this latest alleged victim has New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins calling for Cuomo to resign:
NEWS: New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, a Democrat from Yonkers, has called on Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) to resign — the highest-ranking state lawmaker to do so.
"We need to govern without daily distraction"

And New York State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, while not calling for Cuomo to resign, did say it’s time for him to “seriously consider” it:

New York State assembly Speaker Carl Heastie: "I think it is time for the Governor to seriously consider whether he can effectively meet the needs of the people of New York."

If you recall, Stewart-Cousins said last week she would call on the governor to resign if one more woman came forward:
'Cuomo should quit if one more accuser comes forward' says NY's Democratic Senate majority leader https://t.co/AfcYByZTPo

If they really believe this, why not start impeachment proceedings?
Top officials like Andrea Stewart Cousins calling for @NYGovCuomo’s resignation after he indignantly said he won’t go is a weak and lame cop out. If she thinks Cuomo should be gone, put your money where your mouth is and push for impeachment. Otherwise it’s just hollow rhetoric.

In related news, Cuomo and his team went on the attack against another former staffer, Karen Hinton:
Karen Hinton details an encounter with Cuomo in his hotel room two decades ago; Cuomo’s spokesman attacks her on the record https://t.co/CWYInjYDV6
— Shane Goldmacher (@ShaneGoldmacher) March 7, 2021
Hinton gave her story to the Washington Post for an article published on Saturday:
Cuomo’s behavior created toxic workplace culture for decades, former aides say. W/@AmyJBrittain & team — we contacted more than 150 former current & former Cuomo aides. One former aide, Karen Hinton describes uncomfortable encounter in hotel room. https://t.co/YcdHWM7JeX
— Josh Dawsey (@jdawsey1) March 7, 2021
From Hinton:
“She described it as, ‘very long, too long, too tight, too intimate.’ ‘It’s not just a hug,’ she added. Hinton said she pulled away.”
“She described Cuomo’s move as a ‘power play’ for ‘manipulation and control.’”

Cuomo denied it all:
Cuomo: what @KarenHinton said in the @washingtonpost “is not true,” adds “she is a longtime political opponent of mine.”
— David Freedlander (@freedlander) March 7, 2021
But there are some major problems with team Cuomo’s attack on Hinton:
Cuomo’s comms director attacking an accuser is bad enough in this statement, but this whole statement is very sloppy. pic.twitter.com/f0AHm77HGS
— Cameron Cawthorne (@Cam_Cawthorne) March 7, 2021
For starters, this “known antagonist” was praised by Cuomo in his 2014 memoir:
Karen Hinton is a “known antagonist”??? If so, why did Cuomo say she was part of “my extended team, my second family” in his 2014 memoir. pic.twitter.com/Fw19lLtl3J
— Cameron Cawthorne (@Cam_Cawthorne) March 7, 2021
And she spoke to the Post “BEFORE the other accusers detailed their sexual harassment experiences with Cuomo”:
The statement goes on to say that Karen Hinton is “attempting to take advantage of this moment.” She told WaPo about her experience with Cuomo in hotel room on Feb. 14 BEFORE the other accusers detailed their sexual harassment experiences with Cuomo. pic.twitter.com/OgVCbubjCj
— Cameron Cawthorne (@Cam_Cawthorne) March 7, 2021
And then Cuomo attacked the press:
At the end of the statement, Cuomo’s spox attacks the media (WaPo in this case) for publishing a “reckless” allegation against Cuomo. WaPo spoke to 2 people who verified Hinton’s account. pic.twitter.com/yP1FGQwZR5

Sound familiar, Dems? LOL.
***
Because 4 women is where they draw the line! Top Dem says Cuomo should quit if 1 more woman accuses him of sexual harassment https://t.co/lXZsSX3pW1
