Wow.
A transcript released on Friday unveiled the incredible sexism directed at Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) by Michael Volkov, a lawyer for impeachment inquiry witness Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman when Volkov rudely asked Rep. Stefanik to identify herself, thinking she was just a staffer:

Rep. Stefanik then called out Times Union managing editor Casey Seiler for making light of the exchange:

Seiler went on to blame Rep. Stefanik for not talking to the media more:

Seiler then responded directly to Rep. Stefanik, correcting her grammar:
As an editor, I have to point out that's an appalling run-on sentence. Also, I think my tweet properly summarizes what the lawyer said — people are free to interpret it at their leisure. But glad you showed up for this deposition!
