After recent criticism from President Trump and the New York Post, Rasmussen Reports is calling on Fox News to be more transparent on how it’s conducting polls.
THREAD ==>
Update String:
Time for Transparency at @FoxNews Polling:
Let's stipulate up front (again) that we have zero issues with how Fox News Polling weights their Registered Voters (RV) polls.
They are however currently very different than other RV pollsters.

For example, here is a sample of current nationally recognized Registered Voters (RV) based poll weights:
Fox News D48, R40, I/O12
Marist D33, R27, I/O41
Politico D39, R34, I/O27
Monmouth D30, R26, I/O44
Quinnipiac D34, R30, I/O36Fox's I/O weight here is < half Marist's

This Fox weighting subject became national news 2 weeks ago when they released an RV poll showing 51% of RV's approved of the Impeachment & Removal From Office of @realDonaldTrump @POTUS then hit back immediately.https://t.co/ZOy1QhYdqL

The @nypost next published a critique of the poll using Gallup All Adults (AA) weighting:
"Fox News pollster Braun Research misrepresented impeachment poll: analysis"https://t.co/94Kv7DKQAV
And @foxnewspoll then publicly affirmed they "stand by our latest poll."

We believe @FoxNews would now be well served to be transparent in 2 key respects:
(1) Inform the public how they benchmark, who to, & how frequently.
(2) Restore the Nov 2016 final poll weighting data to their own website & the @RealClearNews database.

Let's illustrate what specifically we mean here by final 2016 polling weighting transparency.
Here is the link to our Final Nov 2016 Presidential Race Poll:https://t.co/JTHo71LafU
Below are slides from that link & the 2016 Final RCP 4-Way Race Results.

And here are the current @FoxNews disclosures of their 2016 Final Poll weighting, when it counted most.
As readers can see, the crosstabs containing the final weighting were provided at one time but have now been removed. Why?

'Seriously, so what'? The Hill would like you to know that a poll found that a 'majority of Americans' aren't pleased with Trump's SCOTUS picks https://t.co/V90yvabZFt
