'BOMBSHELL': NYT adds BRUTAL editor's note to its Kavanaugh hit piece; Will anyone get fired?

And there it is.

The New York Times added an Editor’s Note to that big Kavanaugh hit piece on Sunday which FINALLY notes that what was printed in the NYT is actually debunked by other reporting in the book that the Times piece was excerpted from:

Heads should roll over this (but we know they won’t). From the NYT:

Editors’ Note:

An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book’s account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article.

As for how Brian Stelter is covering it? No biggie. This is the item from his daily newsletter:

“The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation” by Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly. Their first TV interview will be on the third hour of “Today” Monday morning. Their book excerpt in the NYT’s Sunday Review section sparked outrage, criticism, presidential tweets, an editors’ note, and more…

That’s just pathetic:

WTF is going on over at the NYT?

And some editors have some questions to answer:
