LOL.
Journos over at the NYT are having a meltdown over this report that allies of President Trump have dared to archive embarrassing tweets from members of the media to fight back against negative coverage from those outlets:
NEW FRONT IN THE WAR ON THE PRESS: TRUMP allies say they have archived embarrassing posts by hundreds of employees of @nytimes, @washingtonpost, @CNN & others.
The TRUMP allies plan to disseminate the posts in response to coverage they consider unfair. https://t.co/UqKvjyxd6w

We seem to recall these same orgs rushing to ruin a teen’s life because he smirked:
Outlets like the @NYtimes and @CNN doxed kids and tried to destroy conservatives’ lives by pushing false allegations, but don’t you dare mock one of their past tweets.

“Take a Xanax for your TDS next time” is good advice:
I love & have written for @nytimes but this article & hysterical accompanying statement by the publisher are both totally bananas
OMG a couple of dudes dig up dumb tweets by your young woke staffers & you act like its Pentagon Papers 2.0

Did they really think there would be no backlash for the way they’ve acted going after random people?
Maybe going after forklift operators and gifmakers wasn't such a good idea. Now here we are. https://t.co/mEpD1kMp3E

This was the most predictable thing in the world. They thought they were immune, but this is where promoting these outrage mobs will take you. https://t.co/zCzZGVKJki

This has become a standard and toxic form of journalism. And the press has not been selective about their targets. They've consistently tried to dig up any dirt they can on anyone they don't like without recognizing the consequences of that approach.
