We’re all thinking the same thing regarding that fake Trump quote from Time magazine journo Ian Bremmer today: If a Republican had done this, what would have happened?

Well, we actually know what would happen. Remember when James Woods had his account locked out after tweeting this meme in 2018?
Twitter told Woods that the image was “misleading in a way that could impact an election”:

Bremmer even used similar wording in his hoax, calling it “plausible” before admitting it was a fake:

In reality, Bremmer’s fake quote was way worse than Woods’ tweet, especially since Woods 1) didn’t create the meme and 2) was up front in his tweet that it was fake.
