Alyssa Milano and her pals are cheering on Kristen Wiig for pulling her new film, “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar,” out of Georgia over the state’s new heartbeat abortion bill:

In the film, Wiig’s character travels from the Midwest to Florida on a road trip, so is it really a bid deal that they’re not filming in Georgia? From IMDB:

Maybe the first episode will have one of the characters electrocuting a Republican? From the Los Angeles Times:

But as for everything else, the Los Angeles Time reported a week or so ago that “Muted Hollywood response to Georgia’s ‘heartbeat’ abortion ban shows how much studios have to lose”:
But the entertainment industry’s response to the same state’s new, restrictive abortion law has been relatively muted after Gov. Brian Kemp on Tuesday signed a bill banning abortions once a fetal heartbeat can be detected. That can be as early as six weeks, which is before many women know they’re pregnant.
