The latest column from the 100% totally conservative Jennifer Rubin is titled, “Let’s help Stacey Abrams make the right choice” and it gives the Georgia Dem some advice on how she should run for President of the United State and not in the next U.S. Senate race:
Does she really want to be in the Senate, possibly in the minority? Even if Democrats win the majority, Rs will still have enough votes to filibuster. Moreover, one is compelled to sit there for 6 years listening to Cruz and other windbags https://t.co/GBCzFfhHuz

Rubin is worried that if Abrams were to win a Senate seat, this might hurt her chances to be President one day:
Moreover, with the exception of President Obama, the Senate has not exactly been a springboard to the presidency. https://t.co/GBCzFfhHuz

She can win!
Abrams can focus on the 5-7 of them who have raised real money or gotten above a couple points in the polls.
Could she win? Sure. Neither Biden nor Bernie can afford to lose in Iowa and New Hampshire. If they do, the aura of frontrunner is gone https://t.co/GBCzFfhHuz

And Rubin thinks she doesn’t even need Iowa or New Hampshire to do so:
If no candidate has really taken off she enters a debate in the fall, steals the show. With a late entry, she wouldn’t have to commit to winning Iowa or NH. She makes her stand in SC, her neighboring state https://t.co/GBCzFfhHuz

Super Tuesday or bust:
she would stand an excellent chance of captivating a strong coalition of African Americans, rural whites and young voters — just as she did in Georgia. If she wins South Carolina, she might well clean up on Super Tuesday. https://t.co/GBCzFfhHuz

This doesn’t say much for the other 20 or so Dem candidates, does it?
She can keep it simple and effective by talking about what she already knows as well if not better than most contenders: Break voting suppression; healthcare; and focus on rural Americans, who are falling further and further behind urban centers https://t.co/GBCzFfhHuz
— Jennifer Rubin (@JRubinBlogger) April 10, 2019
In summary, there’s a “credible path”:
Put different, why not run for president? No one is better able to make voter suppression/democratic reform a national issue , and she’s got a credible path to the nomination. https://t.co/GBCzFfhHuz

But she needs a tutor first on foreign policy:
What should she do in the meantime? Keep using free media to introduce herself to voters, push for legislative and court wins on voting and spend as much time as possible reading up and getting tutored on foreign policy. https://t.co/GBCzFfhHuz
