Sen. Chris Murphy tweets joke Connecticut exit poll that shows surprising surge for Beto O'Rourke

In a response to an update from The Daily Beast’s Sam Stein’s mom, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) joked (we think) that his informal exit poll of Connecticut voters “suggest about 6 in 10 were voting for Beto.)

Which would make sense since the Texas Democrat has relied on Dems outside of Florida to fuel his run against Republican Ted Cruz:

The Real Clear Politics average has Cruz +6.8%, but that, of course, doesn’t include Beto’s many voters in the Acela corridor:
