The Daily Caller’s Saagar Enjeti reports that an unidentified man on a bicycle threatened to shoot him and some of the website’s interns with an AR-15 outside of the staff entrance to the White House this afternoon:
Man outside the White House thinks the media entrance is for staff and screamed obscenities at myself and a few @dailycaller interns. Said he hopes somebody shoots us all with an AR15

But we don’t expect that Jim Acosta or Brian Stelter or any of the folks at CNN will really care about this threat to the press because the guy making the threat thought Enjeti and his colleagues were working for the Trump administration:
For those asking I know he thought we were staff because he said “f*** all you b**** working for trump”

Vice President Mike Pence press secretary Alyssa Farah recommended a report to the U.S. Secret Service:
Report to Secret Service if you haven’t already
— Alyssa Farah (@Alyssafarah) August 23, 2018
Which was done:
Will do

Secret Service was there, but couldn’t react in time to the threat:
They were but the guy was on a bike and almost immediately rode off, not sure if they heard it

Bloomberg’s Megan O’Neil said a similar thing happened to her before, too:
Mistaken for a staffer, I too was harangued leaving the White House after a recent late night pool duty shift. Startled me. https://t.co/CN8rjV54sK

We do wonder how many other incidents like this have gone unreported?

Why aren't we hearing more about the mass shooting in New Jersey that left 22 injured and one dead? Here's why:
*No AR-15
*Strict gun-control laws
*Gang related
*Suspect just released from prison
*No metal detectorshttps://t.co/HEdQRFTDa0¯_ツ_¯/— Twitchy Team (@TwitchyTeam) June 18, 2018
