Why would someone buy a printer when they could just buy a gun legally? Even criminals have no issues buying guns, and probably for a whole lot less than single-shot 3D printed guns:
I haven't crunched actual numbers on this, but I'm willing to wager that getting an actual gun (legal or illegal) would be easier, cheaper and quicker for virtually anyone in this country than 3D-printing a working firearm.
