The Root has taken a post titled, “Evidence Shows Hackers Changed Votes in the 2016 Election But No One Will Admit It” and issued an editor’s note saying the piece is now going through “editorial review”:
U.S officials don’t specifically deny that Russian operatives altered votes, they say that there is no conclusive evidence to support it. That is simply not true: https://t.co/XrjWxtgRol pic.twitter.com/Sh4Iomofb3

Good for @TheRoot for taking down this deeply irresponsible article claiming votes were changed. It ran wild across Twitter, pumped up by conspiracy theorists — I applaud them for removing the entire article so misinformation can't continue to spread. https://t.co/Cj7mVViJRt pic.twitter.com/OxTLfLLern

There is COMPELLING circumstantial evidence suggesting votes were changed by Russian hackers and Trump may not have been elected president. The type of evidence discussed here is the same type of probative evidence used in EVERY criminal case. A MUST-READ. https://t.co/xV2enlWHvU
