When he’s not scolding righties over our criticism of his inane coverage of Melania Trump, Brian stelter has been scolding the media as a whole for its lack of coverage of Puerto Rico:
Brand new episode of my @ReliableSources podcast: Is the media failing Puerto Rico? A frank conversation with CBS's @DavidBegnaud, who's back in San Juan right now https://t.co/wAtJcwKagY

You mean like how you never tweeted about Puerto Rico from October until May? Is that an example of the media failing Puerto Rico?
What’s even funnier is that his May 30 tweet was in response to someone criticizing him for not spending any time on Puerto Rico. Stelter claimed he’s not because “my beat is media.” Which is exactly right. He didn’t cover the media’s failing of Puerto Rico for 7 months:

Of note, his renewed interest in Puerto Rico stems from the now discredited Harvard study on deaths related to Hurricane Maria:
Was the new Harvard study about the estimated death toll in Puerto Rico short-changed by the press? We talked about that on this week's podcast… Guest: @DavidBegnaud https://t.co/XJgwn0cwF5

More on the flaws of that study here:
