Joy Reid opened her show this morning with an apology of sorts for her past homophobic blog posts but — get this — She still doesn’t believe that she was the one who wrote them!
Joy Reid tells MSNBC audience she still doesn’t believe blog posts under investigation were hers, but can’t prove it. Says sorry for & acknowledges making fun of people by using anti- #LGBTQ language in past pic.twitter.com/5stbqufaVI

So the hacking may have still happened but she can’t “prove” it and she has no recollection of the posts?
“…They are completely alien to me. But I can definitely understand, based on things I have tweeted and have written in the past — why some people don’t believe me.”
She goes on to apologize profusely to the LGBT community and Ann Coulter.
This is so messy, @JoyAnnReid#AMJoy

Watch:
.@MSNBC's Joy Reid addresses homophobic blog posts:
"I genuinely do not believe I wrote those hateful things … But I can definitely understand, based on things I have tweeted and have written in the past, why some people don't believe me." pic.twitter.com/PWjdPfs5KB

So she basically didn’t answer anything:
I don’t get it. I don’t want @JoyAnnReid to be fired. I don’t want her head. I don’t want condemnations. I just want to understand: was Joy hacked, did she change, or both? #AMJoy

But having on LGBTQ activists as guests makes everything OK?
Instead of answering to the specifics of what she did or didn't do, Joy Reid is turning her show into an #LGBT kumbaya and general equality segment. One of her guests should grill her, especially from @glaad and @PFLAG, as she has invited them to do.

It appears to be working:
Big Love to @JoyAnnReid AND her brave panel for taking this issue head on and moving our understanding of LGBTQ issues forward

Exit question: Should someone with such a bad memory have an MSNBC show?
How can a person with such a poor memory possibly function as the attorney general of the United States? #Sessions
