BREAKING: Broward Sheriff releases surveillance video from Stoneman Douglas HS attack

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance videos from the February 14 attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS in Parkland, FL saying in a statement that “The video speaks for itself” and that [Deputy Scot Peterson’s] actions were enough to warrant an internal affairs investigation, as requested by Sheriff Scott Israel on Feb. 21.”

As we expected, the tape shows Peterson just standing outside the building while the killing was taking place inside:

A judge authorized the release of the videos on Monday, which the Broward Sheriff’s office had been attempting to stop:
