Blue checks get reality checked -- HARD -- over Trump's Core/Corps spelling error

Blue-check Twitter is in a tizzy this morning after President Donald Trump made a spelling error in a now-deleted tweet. As we all know, it’s Marine Corps and not Marine “Core”:

But this has lib Jonathan Chait playing the “if a Democrat” did this card:
