CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta is continuing to argue on air that despite what Donald Trump’s doctor said yesterday, the president isn’t healthy:
Sanjay Gupta says on CNN that the numbers reveal that POTUS has heart disease.

CNN even sent this out as a “NEWS ALERT”:
Folks, it's not @maggieNYT. It's @CNN: pic.twitter.com/CG4UulisJ9

Armchair psychology has been replaced by armchair cardiology:
So in addition to armchair psychology, CNN is now giving us armchair cardiology. It’s raining bananas. https://t.co/wEipDFmug9

This is even more irresponsible than psychiatrists speculating that Trump has dementia. https://t.co/8IZOGb4ezs

Trump's Navy physician: "his cardiac health is excellent."

Yesterday: Everyone should respect the White House doctor, he took great care of the Obama administration.
Today: The White House doctor is hiding something, Trump is actually about to die. https://t.co/7egjPSoKxq

Sanjay Gupta should not be diagnosing people whom he hasn't personally examined https://t.co/daRlW4XJVD

Now, technically Dr. Gupta is correct:
Dr. Jackson yesterday: "he has nonclinical atherosclerotic coronary — coronary atherosclerosis."
Which is by definition, heart disease https://t.co/wM6xLDCaBQ https://t.co/SNgmmP7Vij
— Abby D. Phillip (@abbydphillip) January 17, 2018
But this doesn’t mean Trump is unhealthy:
By the same token, Gupta's statement that Trump has heart disease is definitionally correct. But that doesn't answer whether Trump is in truly serious danger of heart attack, which he appears not to be, according to Jackson.

Gupta tried to get Dr. Jackson to say this at the briefing yesterday, but Dr. Jackson refused:
Dr. Jackson specifically rebuffed this suggestion to Gupta in the briefing room yesterday. https://t.co/qA4Jt4dRot

Here’s the transcript:
Again, for you doctors and would-be doctors, here is Dr. Gupta's exchange with Dr. Jackson at the White House yesterday in which Dr. Gupta questioned Dr. Jackson's assessment: pic.twitter.com/iP7a6R3Pmh

And Gupta’s armchair diagnosis is being played up by the Left as some new conspiracy theory:
CNN’s Sanjay Gupta: Contrary to what Trump’s doctor claimed today, most doctors wouldn’t say Trump is in excellent health. pic.twitter.com/UcuhXt6ZBK
