'Floodgates' about to open?: Panthers owner Jerry Richardson under investigation for 'workplace misconduct'

Breaking news out of the sports world tonight with the Carolina Panthers announcing that the team’s 81-year-old owner, Jerry Richardson, is under investigation over “allegations of workplace misconduct”:

JUST IN: Carolina Panthers say internal investigation begun into "allegations of workplace misconduct" against team owner Jerry Richardson; investigation being led by an outside law firm, and overseen by limited team owner and former White House Chief of Staff Erskine Bowles.

No comment from NFL:

NFL spokesman says the league will have no comment at this time on the Jerry Richardson investigation.

1) Know nothing. Can only imagine.
2) Two years ago at owner’s meeting, observed someone helping/escorting him to use the bathroom. Think it had to do w/health issues.
3) Will this open floodgates in other NFL franchises?

Richardson has battled health issues over the years. From the Charlotte Observer:

Richardson has survived a series of serious health-related issues in the past 15 years. He overcame prostate cancer and also underwent quadruple bypass surgery in 2002.

Richardson had a pacemaker/defibrillator inserted in his heart in 2008, and doctors told him then he would eventually need a heart transplant.

Two months after going on the donor waiting list, Richardson, then 72, received his heart transplant in 2009 during a five-hour procedure at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. The donor has never been identified.
