HACKED? CNN is investigating who accessed @AndersonCooper's account and called Trump a 'pathetic loser'

Apparently someone accessed to Anderson Cooper’s Twitter account this morning and replied to President Trump:

This morning someone gained access to the handle @andersoncooper and replied to POTUS. We're working with Twitter to secure the account.

Cooper later tweeted that it definitely wasn’t him:

just woke up to find out someone gained access to my twitter account. i have not sent a tweet in days or replied to any tweets. We are looking into how this happened.

Here’s a screenshot of the tweet sent by the @AndersonCooper account calling the president a “pathetic loser” for endorsing Roy Moore:

Whoops.

From CNN’s language, it sounds like this could be a social media person at CNN who did this by accident after they logged into Cooper’s account rather than their own personal account. We’ll keep you posted as soon we learn more.
