“Saturday Night Live” jumped on the anti-Trump bandwagon last night with a parody ad suggesting GOP front-runner Donald Trump is supported by racists.
The ad features cast members Taran Killam wearing a Nazi arm band; Taran Killam ironing a KKK robe; Bobby Moynihan as a “white power” painter; Aidy Bryant as an anti-Muslim office worker; Beck Bennett as a book burner; and Kyle Mooney helping burn a cross:
They also poked fun at “hostage” Chris Christie in the cold open and his now infamous #ChristieFace, but at the same time compared Trump to the rise of Hitler.
“I really am running the best campaign, aren’t I?” says Darrell Hammond as Trump. “The media is saying they haven’t seen anything like this, not since Germany in the 1930’s.”
Exit question: If Trump is such a racist, why’d “Saturday Night Live” let him host the show?
The thing is: most of the racially charged stuff Trump has said, he said before SNL had him host in Nov https://t.co/UiRngG7Jw5
