Progressive talk show host, David Pakman, asks if murdered Christians weren't praying enough

In a contemptible attempt to score points against Christians praying in the wake of school shootings, progressive talk show host, David Pakman, instead came off as a heartless schmuck.

Pakman feigns disbelief that people could be murdered at a Christian school. After all, aren’t those the people who are always offering their thoughts and prayers?

That was the gist of David Pakman’s tweet, but the point he was trying to make wasn’t even honest. According to Pakman, ‘lack of prayer is often blamed for these horrible events’.

Nobody says ‘perhaps if they had prayed more, they wouldn’t have been murdered’. David Pakman just made that up to try to support his asinine assertion.

What Christians actually do is pray for those who are hurting after experiencing tragedy. For a Christian, letting someone know that you’re appealing to God in prayer on their behalf, is the highest form of expressing empathy.

It’s become a joke to many on the Left, who don’t bother much with hiding their anti-Christian bigotry these days.

We can’t imagine this being the thought a person would decide to release into the wilds of Twitter after such a horrific event. Twitter users felt the same.

That was a much kinder response than was deserved, but Pakman had an answer.

And there it is … the driving force behind the mean tweet. Pakman equates the murdered Christians with Republicans.

‘How are your thoughts and prayers working out for you now, Christians?’

It’s just messed up.

Yes.

It’s going to be a long wait.

Folks, Twitter was at a low point today. So much sadness, grief, and hate.

If you pretend people are Nazis, some wacko somewhere is going to try deal with them like they’re Nazis.

David left little doubt.

Good advice for all of us. Politics can be overwhelming when joined with tragedy. May we all step away when the rage level gets too high, instead of behaving this way.

Yep.

This is not difficult.

You really should, David. It’s hard not to dig in on Twitter when you do something obviously wrong, but you’d be better off for it if you backed away from this one.

Now that’s a good idea.
