‘Work in progress’ is a fitting term for that recipe you just can’t get right, your backyard project, or maybe your kid’s little league team. One would not generally apply it to the person you recently selected as Vice President of the United States, assuring the nation she was fit to serve as the Commander in Chief, should you meet your not-so-early demise.
That’s exactly what an upcoming book by Chris Whipple claims, according to an article in Politico:

It’s not surprising. Joe Biden made it abundantly clear he was making certain key personnel decisions based on superficial physical characteristics he thought would poll well.
