The summer of 2028 is more than a couple of years away, so polls at this point are largely meaningless, but lately there seems to have been even more potentially good news for the Republicans as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is gaining prominence in her party on a national level:

If Kamala Harris wouldn't fly in swing states, I'm guessing AOC would go over like an ostrich after being tossed out of a helicopter.
However, it's clear that Harris is trying to be a leader of her party with suggestions like this:

As usual, whenever the Democrats don't win they want to change the rules.
A) Somebody tell Kamala that if the EC had already been abolished, she still wouldn't be president.
B) Why do Democrats always think "pack the Court" is a one-way street? Can you imagine their reaction if Trump came out and called for several new justices to be put on the Supreme Court right now?
C) Of course Harris says "no bad ideas" because that's all her party has in their desperation to regain power.

I think the only way Harris would get her party's nomination again is if they skipped the primary process and installed her as the nominee, but she won't get that lucky this time.

The only thing Harris will think IS a bad idea would be for anybody to suggest to the Democrats that they would no longer need to consider shredding the Constitution if her party would just stop being so incredibly insane and destructive. They'll never consider that.
