When it comes to how Donald Trump treats much of the media, I always try to ask myself how I'd feel about a group of people in a "journalism" profession who had spent years helping spread lies about me and my family all while suppressing the truth about my political opposition. I wouldn't view that group of people favorably and Trump makes that clear as well when he squares off with the "fake news" media.
This week a new exchange had "journalists" clutching their pearls:

And right on cue, the Left is going to pretend that Trump is alone soiling the sanctity of the world's purest and most honest profession: Journalism.
Maria Shriver just couldn't believe how awfully Trump treated the woman, which is something else coming from a person whose uncle killed a lady and then ran for president (I won't even bother getting started on other males in the Kennedy clan):
In years past, this sort of behavior would have been unimaginable from a president of the United States. Unimaginable. There are other words to describe this, but you can simply watch it and feel it yourself. This is being done in public. The press is being attacked in public and… https://t.co/rOOIiVEly7

To a large degree the media has earned every ounce of derision that is thrown in their direction. The bias has culminated in the kind of mass layoffs we've seen at the Washington Post this week while they blame Bezos (and Trump) instead of looking in a mirror to see why the old media has collapsed.
We’ll yall hated on him so much it made people shoot at him, so I don’t think he gives a 💩 on what is proper

Media types like Shriver getting upset by how Trump treats them always reminds me of the Dennis Miller quote, "I'm so insecure that it bothers me when people I hate don't like me."
Also, "reporters" are now largely propagandists and are being treated as such.
I also didn't notice very many of these "presidents should treat journalists with deep respect no matter what" media types get too angered after Joe Biden said this to Fox News' Peter Doocy:
That wasn't called "unimaginable behavior" for some reason.

THAT was "unimaginable behavior," but the family still considered Ted fully qualified to be president.
But hey, at least Trump managed to take Maria Shriver's mind off of all the Kennedy Center issues... for now.
